Are you in debt? Are the Credit Card Bills out-of-control? Are the Bill Collectors calling every day - at all hours?
Then let me tell you a little story of how one man dealt with it....and how you can do the same thing.
Several years ago, I invested heavily in business venture with a couple of other business associates. It had great potential, a huge market and very little competition.
Nothing could stop us! Wrong! The stock markets went in the toilet, the economy went into a nose-dive....and the money dried-up.
In a matter of days, I found myself wallowing in a $100,000 debt pool and owing the IRS more than $20,000.
I'd borrowed money and charged a ton-of-money to my credit cards to start the new business and now the bills had to be paid. I had no way to pay the bills with the terms that were in place.
I can't tell you how much sleep I lost trying to think of a clever way to deal with this problem and not have my Credit Report negatively impacted.
So, what did I do?
I picked-up the phone....and dealt with it!
That's it. That's all I did. I called each Creditor (including the IRS), explained what happened, told them that yes, I was planning to pay everything in full....
And all I needed was a little help from them.
There's no magic in this. No silver-bullet. I simply told them what they wanted to hear....
I was planning on paying everything in full.
And you can do the same. Avoiding the issue is not going to make it go away. Not answering the phone when it rings will make your troubles go away. Pick it up....and deal with it.
The first step I took was obvious - And it's what you should so - stop spending.
If you're trouble is with credit cards, cut them up and call the credit card company.
If you have outstanding loans, call the Bank or Lender and ask for help.
If you've fallen behind on your car payment, pick-up the phone and call.
It's as simple as that. You'll eventually get out of the hole you're in and your Credit Score will stay afloat.
Even with a $100,000 debt and the IRS breathing down my neck, my credit remained intact. It was Tier 1 (the best) before my problems and it was Tier 1 when all was said and done.
All it takes is a phone call.....do it today.
If you've stuck your head in the sand to avoid your debts, handling it yourself is going to be an uphill battle.
You're credit has already been damaged and the calls keep coming.
It's time to get professional help. You have two choices....
1. Debt Management Assistance
2. An Attorney.
Perhaps the largest and most effective Debt Management program is offered by Lower My Bill - Credit Repair Services! - it's owned by Experian, one of the largest Credit Reporting Agencies in the U.S. Just enter your debts and they'll get you on your way to repairing your credit.
If you're really in trouble, an Attorney might be your only option. But I don't want you running out to the first Attorney you see in the Yellow Pages.
Here's a couple of things to keep in mind about credit repair and debt help - compliments of the FTC (Federal Trade Commission)
One credit report repair firm I'd recommend is Lexington
Law, one the largest Credit Repair firms in the U.S.
Lexington is a law firm specializing in repairing credit reports and can help regardless of where you live. They have helped more than 200,000 folks, just like you, repair their credit reports by removing inaccurate, misleading, or unverifiable information. Whether it's a bankruptcy, charge-off or tax lien, they challenged virtually every credit repair problem you can think of.
Regardless of who you choose to get professional credit repair help, make sure you check with the BBB - the Better Business Bureau. If they have an acceptable rating, the service they provide is working.
On the other hand, if they have lousy rating, run - don't walk - to your next choice.
I do have an obligation to point out that not all Car Makers, Dealers, Salespeople, Insurance Companies and Banks are greedy or crooked. This site is dedicated to honest Companies and their Professional Employees who've grown weary of the ignorant and classless giving the automotive related industry a black eye......a black eye that I feel is very close to being permanent.
By using these new and used car guides, I hope to be able to help you find the Best Businesses, and the Professionals that represent them, with very little effort on your part and help you....
Save More Money and More Time Than You Ever Have Before.
It is also my hope that these Companies and the Professionals that represent them will have more business than they can handle - a reward they justly deserve.
