How Much Time & Money Do You Want To Save
When's the last time you enjoyed getting a price on a truck? If you're like most, one or more of the following happened to you -
- You spend time driving all over town going to various dealers in an attempt to get an attractive price on the truck you're looking at...while having to go through the sales dance that so many dealers use.
- Sit on the phone for hours trying to get a price - sometimes getting a "ball park" price and sometimes getting no price at all.
- Go to several Internet Sites and send a request for a price....and maybe get 1 or 2 replies back.
If any of those 3 things have happened to you, let me ask you this....
Do you want to learn how to avoid all the games?
And do you want to learn how to get the lowest truck prices in less than 95 seconds?
If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, all you have to do is....get your prices on a new truck like a Fortune 500 Company does....
Just have the the Truck Dealer "Bid" on what you want.
It's really very simple. You see, when a big company wants to buy anything, be it paper, office chairs, computers and even trucks, they send out an RFP (Request For Proposal) to each and every supplier that has what they need.
The RFP shows what the Company wants and gives the various suppliers a deadline to bid and price. Fortune 500 Companies, and even small companies, don't have the time to play games. They don't waste their valuable time meeting with sales folks and they definitely don't drive all over town getting prices.
And you don't have the time either.
So, why not get your prices like the big companies do....use an RFP. It's simple to do, fast, Free, and the only way to get a truck dealer to play by your rules.
How To Get The Lowest Truck Prices In 95 Seconds Using An RFP
When most people hop on the Internet to get prices, they might visit a couple of web sites, pick out a truck and send their price request on it's way. You might get a response, but more often than not, you don't. It's very much a flip of the coin.
However, if you use an organized RFP process for each and every single truck dealer that has what you want, you can get up to 15 bids on truck you want....with an absolute rock-bottom price. Why's that, you ask?
Because the RFP tells the truck dealer they have 1 shot at your business. And if they ever want the chance at getting your business, they'd better be ready to play the game your way. Here's how it's done.
Step 1 - You'll need an e-mail address for sending your RFP. Do not use your every-day e-mail address - e-mail addresses get bought and sold regularly so get a new one. You can get a free e-mail account at Yahoo - I like to set mine up to look something like this: rfp-bid###@yahoo.com (where ### is a number of your choice).
Step 2 - Below step 2 is a list of the top 6 online vendors with the largest largest truck dealer networks in the U.S.
Go to each of those web sites and choose the make and model you want, and:
- Fill-in the contact information - When giving your phone number, use your mobile number or a false number. Make sure you list the correct city, state and zip code - the truck dealer needs it to calculate Sales Tax;
- Complete the make and model information;
- And most importantly, add the following (copy and paste this into the comment section if you'd like) to the comment section;
Request For Proposal (RFP) - Accepting Multiple Bids: E-mail contact only. Please Complete The Following:
- Is the Exact Make and Model requested available for test-drive? (the Fleet Manager or Internet Manager will fill in)
- Sale Price: (the Fleet Manager or Internet Manager will fill in)
- Accessories: (add any you want priced here or just type in "None")
- Extended Warranty: (add the coverage you want here or just type in "None")
- Sale Price Sub-Total: (the Fleet Manager or Internet Manager will fill in)
- Estimated Sales Tax: (the Fleet Manager or Internet Manager will fill in)
- Estimated Fee's: (the Fleet Manager or Internet Manager will fill in)
- Total Sale Price: (the Fleet Manager or Internet Manager will fill in)
- Current and Best Interest Rates and Terms offered - (the Fleet Manager or Internet Manager will fill in)
Here's the list for the top online vendors - make sure you use as many as you can so your RFP will be sent to all participating Truck Dealers in your area:

Edmunds.com: Truck Prices & Quotes - A recommended choice.
Automotive.com: Truck Prices & Quotes

Winners & Losers From The RFP
So, you've sent your RFP. What happens next? Well, each Dealer that represents the truck you want will get that RFP. How the Dealer answers your RFP will prove to you....how they plan on treating you.
Two things are going to happen. One, some of the dealers will e-mail a price back and honor your request for "e-mail contact only". Or perhaps they'll email you back for a clarification. That's good - these are your "keepers". Write down the individuals name, the Dealership they work at and send a reply back thanking them and asking for that individuals office number - tell them you'll be getting back to them to arrange a test drive or for further discussions.
Or two, some of the truck dealers will refuse to give you any prices by e-mail and will do nothing but tell you to "stop on by" or "call them". You sent the RFP with simple instructions - and if they can't follow those instructions and honor your request now, how do you think they'll treat you later? Eliminate them from your list now today to avoid a miserable experience later.
In less than 10 minutes, you've gotten the lowest truck prices and know what truck dealer you'll be talking to. You won't waste any time, and you'll get a great price without ever leaving your home or office.
Enjoy yourself.
